From 18 years old to 24 years old, I helped people in times of crisis and chaos working as an EMT, and later on as a Paramedic. I enjoyed every minute of it, but a career change was very much needed. Completely uprooting my newly established family, I answered the call of service and joined the United States Navy. My first duty station was at Joint Base Andrews, but due to limited housing availability at JBA, my family and I ended up being in Indian Head. Little did I know at that time how much God was orchestrating our situation. My wife, Susan, and I, are originally from Arkansas, but after investing into this community of Indian Head, you can’t convince me otherwise that this is where home is for us, and not just a stop. I might have answered the call of service, but what’s even greater is the call that I answered from Jesus. My situation is very unique in the fact my undergraduate degree is in emergency management, but after an internship with BRIDGE church, I quickly realized that God was calling me to ministry. I have a strong passion for helping people in crisis situations, and through a partnership and relationship with Jesus, I would love to be able to walk alongside you.
