Our Story

Welcome to BRIDGE Church

September 2020, in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Bridge Church was launched in Black Box Theater on Indian Head Highway. The years since can only be described as proof of God's faithfulness.

Our Vision

We are a growing community of everyday people partnering with God to ensure each person we encounter believes they are Seen, Known & Loved by God and by us. We are building towards the reality of this vision through intentional focus on outreach, partnerships, discipleship and care.

Outreach within our community, because we believe in meeting people where they are. As part of God’s church, we have a responsibility to be value added in our Indian Head community. Partnerships with other churches, non-profits, schools and local businesses, as well as our town leadership. We believe that God is breathing life back into our town and we (BRIDGE Church) are just one part of that.

Discipleship – Getting to know and reflect the heart of Jesus so we walk in the abundant life He desires for us. Building relationships with others and helping them learn how to trust and follow Jesus.

Care reflects our commitment to ensure those in our church family don't face life's challenges alone. We are better together, which means being there for one another in the good and the bad. Becoming part of the BRIDGE family isn’t just about all that we do to serve God and our community, it includes serving one another as we walk through life together.

We value relationships. We are committed to walking in authentic love for God and others, established in Jesus and encouraged in Christian Community.

We value the opportunity to be a present and active representation of God's love in Indian Head. We are committed to meeting our neighbors where they are, creating opportunities and spaces of common ground for the community to come together.

God's Word

We value the Word, knowing that every scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, correcting, leading or encouraging us in the abundant life God wants for us. We are committed to living God’s word by learning what it means and doing what it says.

God's Spirit

We value the Holy Spirit, knowing Jesus sent Him as our helper to guide us in truth and empower us to live out that truth. We are committed to listening for and following God’s leading through faith, obedience, prayer, and unity within the body.

We value freedom and equality in Christ, recognizing our identity in God and position in Christ is more important than any other. We are committed to sharing the hope we have in Jesus, which invites others to redemption, restoration and wholeness.
